Outlook Not Showing Previews of Messages
If Outlook has stopped showing you the preview of your email messages and the only way to read them is to double-click the message, you can get the Reading Pane back by following these steps:
- Click View from the Outlook menu.
- Find the Reading Pane icon on the ribbon.
- Click on Reading Pane, then select either Right or Bottom depending on where you like to see the email previews appear.
