Blocking Phone Numbers
If you are receiving harassing or unwanted phone calls from a specific phone number to your RingCentral phone, you can block that number from being able to contact you.
Only block numbers that have called you multiple times with harassing or unwanted calls.
Spam callers are able to fake their caller ID information to appear to come from a local number. That number could belong to a current or future customer, or one of our vendors. It is important that you do not block a number unless you have received repeated unwanted calls from the same phone number.
Steps to Block a Number:
Open the RingCentral (Glip) application.
- Select Phone on the left-hand menu.
- Select All Calls to see your call log history.
- Find the number you want to block in your call history, and select the 3 dots (...) to the right of the entry.
- Select Block number from the menu that pops up.
